Regarding your Absolut Vodka ad, I really like the black bottle with the white outlines, it's different.  I also like the colors of the images you choose for the inside of the bottle.  Your choice of layout has a circular movement that functions to maintain the viewer's eye within the page.  
 
The image of the large flag needs some improvement; perhaps another filter would have help to improve the image.

Your mechanical illustration has a nice composition. You have clean curves and smooth shapes which demonstrates that you are building your Illustrator skills.
 
To improve this image, you can add more gradients to the flat pieces which will give the object more depth and better define the light source.
